Of curiosity and interest, I'm eager to know how the the two candidates (Domogan and Molintas) fare in every citizen of Baguio, or to all who have interest related to this topic, comes election day in this summer capital of the country.
If you were to vote, which of the two will you choose?
In terms of resources and machinery, no doubt, Domogan has the edge over Molintas. But Molintas has the better track-record and clear platform that addresses the real issues and problems of the Baguio people. It would be a battle then decided by which will prevail - TRAPO (traditional politics) or NEWPOL (new politics)?
The hopes of winning on the side of JoeMol seems getting slimmer as the nation's electoral exercise is coming within reach. Why? The figures says it all - 39% for Domogan and 11% for JoeMol. That, in terms of popularity survey conducted by National Movement for Good Governance and Accountability (NMGGA). The difference is big. I don't know what "magic" should be done on the part of Molintas, but one thing is sure, It's almost impossible now for him to catch up and win.
